  • To sing

To be somebody is to sing
    in major and minor
    in joy and sorrow
    in longing and despair
to let life be a song
    and all events be
    the music and rhythm
    that give the song life

  • Gud talar gjennom syner

  • Preparing for holiday in Spain

    Preparing for holiday in Spain
The last few days have been very busy as I have had to finish several things before our departure for Spain tomorrow. I have been able to finish the new Norwegian edition of “Finding your place” which will now be published in four books instead of one. I have written a lot more material and I have rearranged the previous material. I am so happy that I have finished all the four manuscripts. They are now being sent to two publishers for publishing considerations.
I have also attended the monthly gathering of pastors in the city for a seminar on cell-groups in the church. Our pastor, Morten Askeland, did a wonderful job in explaining our Biblical view on the subject as well as our practice. It is a joy to listen to him. He has a wonderful gift of communication, even though he still seems to struggle a little bit with a speech impediment. He has really overcome this problem in a tremendous way and even used it to enhance his communication skills! I am very proud of my pastor. He gave an excellent presentation and argued well for his convictions!
Tomorrow we go to Spain for two weeks of holidays. I am looking forward to a time of warm sunshine, bathing in the Mediterranean Sea and enjoying the ripe Spanish strawberries! And I also hope I will be able to read a few books while Solveig is sun bathing!
