  • Snow chaos

Today we were taken by surprise by a heavy snow fall. It caused a total chaos in the traffic. I have never seen anything like this before in Norway. I left the office at two o’clock in the afternoon and I only reached home at seven o’clock! Normally it would have taken 45 minutes because I had to go to the garage to fetch my car that had been in for service. Today it took me 5 hours!

Robert should take me to the garage. The roads were terrible slippery and nearly blocked. We were almost not moving. Robert decided to take a short cut to go to change to winter tires. When he was almost home he got stuck. Then I was able to spend time with his parents while he was changing tires. Then it took him two hours to drive me 2 km! And it took me two hours to drive 4 km to reach home!

The good thing was that I was able to drive safely home and climb the steep hill to my house with only summer tires on my Subaru! Once again I had to give thanks to God for this wonderful car he has given me! I have never had a car like my Subaru Legacy Outback! I was very impressed when I was climbing the hillside covered with wet snow with no difficulties! Praise God for Subaru!

  • Great people

To be somebody is the same as being great

    Great people can be seen

    – By their unselfish actions and their sacrificial service

    Great people can be heard

    – By their encouraging words and faithful confessions

    Great people can be touched

    – Through their practical involvement in our lives

    Great people can be felt

    – By the atmosphere of love, joy and hope that surrounds them

Great people have an effect on us

    – They bring out the best in us

And creates in us a desire to change for the better

As great people has the capacity for enlargement

    And the longing for change

That motivates them to never settle

But reach their full potential in God

  • A miracle

Yesterday I had a miracle! I received a new laptop! My former laptop broke down during my India trip. The old pc that Solveig has been using also stopped working. I felt totally out of space! It was like being paralysed. I had so much to write, so many emails to send, but there was no means of communication!

  • Highlight of our visit to India

During our recent trip to India we had many wonderful experiences. We saw miraculous signs and wonders. We saw people being filled with the Spirit starting to speak new languages. We saw many healings. We saw many people coming to Christ. But the highlight of our trip was what we experienced in a remote village in South India!

  • God is good!

God has been so good to us during our entire life! Again and again we have seen his goodness towards us in so many different ways! During our recent visit to India we experienced again and again how good God really is! We had a wonderful time of fellowship with our Indian friends and were able to make new friends as well! God is so good in allowing us to go to the great nation of India and find friends among many different people groups in the that nation.

When we arrived home, my personal laptop was already broken. But to my horror I found that Solveig’s laptop wasn’t working either! I almost despaired! But in his goodness God moved Stig, a wonderful brother in the church, to lend me one of his laptops enabling me to go online! God is so good!

It is good to be back home in Norway, but I already miss my Indian friends! Hopefully I will be able to see them in January/February next year!
