I will never forget the holy moment at the village of Palakayatippa when we distributed 16 kg rice to the poorest of the poor, the 22 families of scheduled tribe, Anadij.

Dogg i øydemarka
Eg var på veg til eit møte i ein by. Eg hadde vorte henta på flyplassen av ein god venn og vi køyrde mot byen. Eg sat i baksetet av bilen då Gud gav meg eit syn og tok til å tala til meg.

Knowing the Invisible
To be somebody is to know the Invisible
By living in a personal relationship
Through everyday life with him who walks with you
-when no one else is there for you.
You touch him
-even though you can’t feel him with your hands
You hear his tender voice of thunder
-even though your ear don’t register a sound
You see him clearly
-even though your eyes only see the natural world
By faith only you know the Invisible
-for faith is the art of hearing him
Through hope you cling on to the Invisible
-for hope is the art of believing him
Through love you get close to the Invisible
-for love is the art of trusting him
To be somebody is to hear, believe and trust
In him who no one can see
-even though he is ever present
-even though he constantly reveals himself
The Invisible can only be known in an intimate relationship

Today I have posted a report from Venkateswara Rao on the Tsunami relief work at Friends of Covenant. It is worth reading! -
Home from India
Yesterday we arrived home after a very good, exiting, fruitful and busy month in India. It was wonderful to arrive at Flesland and see our son waiting for us, and then a few minutes later, having three lovely grandchildren running to hug us, laughing and rejoicing. In the kitchen was our dear daughter in law preparing dinner. I could just sit down to relax, talk and play with the children.

Rama Anadij
While in Machilipatnam we were taken to a colony of a scheduled tribe. We were moved by what we saw and heard in that colony. A large group of children and a lot of their mothers gathered in front of us. They were surrounded by the men. FACT is considering starting a work to help these people to a better future free from the curse of poverty.
It was heartbreaking to see the living conditions of the tribe. The children didn’t seem to be aware of their plight. They were so beautiful as they looked at us with a mixture of wonder, expectation and despair! -
Safe at home
It was so good to see Josef waiting for us at the airport in Bergen when we arrived on time this afternoon. Our flight was delayed from New Dehli and we lost our connecting flight from Frankfurt to Copenhagen. But praise God we were put on the next flight and reached our scheduled flight from Copenhagen to Bergen!

I am sitting at the airport in New Dehli and waiting for our departure to be announced. We are looking forward to reach home after one month in India. It has been as most blessed time!

Solveig’s births-day – Valentine’s day
Today Solveig is turning 61 years young! We have already exchanged cards! She got a births-day card with some personal words of love and I got a wonderful card on how life is beautiful. I have brought her some nice new clothes and will buy her some new jewelry this morning! This evening we will celebrate with our friends Brenda and Zephry at a very nice hotel. Solveig deserves the best treatment ever today!

Blogging challenges
Blogging is a very satisfying endeavour! But it also have its problems and challenges! The last few days I have had a lot of trouble in posting my small entries and pictures. However today I succeeded with a short report from Sunday morning. Hopefully I will be able to send more in the days to come.
