Meeting with the people of God
Sunday morning we were taken to Mavji’s place to meet with the people of God gathering in his small living room and combined bedroom. About 25 people were gathered to worship the Lord, share their testimonies, listen to the word of God and encourage each other to walk wholeheartedly with their God.

The precious children with a new future
We are sitting in the living room of our friends Silas and Saritas. On our way to Uttareh in Sikkem, we have been invited to have lunch with them. Silas calls all the children of his home to come into the room. Shortly after, eight pair of big, brown, beautiful eyes are looking at us. They look happy and satisfied, but a little curious and shy at the same time, seeing these white, strange visitors.

The girl who gave up everything to follow Jesus
In Uttarey in Sikkim we met a young girl at 18 years. She was such a sweet and smiling young lady with a very high spirit in her. She came with us in the car the last part of the journey before we reached our destination. Her testimony was astounding and touched us all!

Visiting Tsomgo Lake
Today, Wednesday, 02 February 2005 we have had a miracle day! Yesterday the road towards the Tibetan was closed due to heavy snowfall. Today the road was miraculously opened! Our Sikkim friends were working hard to get us the necessary permissions to go. It took much more time than expected and we reached the checkpoint far too late, but still we were allowed to enter! -
Road messages
While we have been driving in Bhutan and India the last few days I have been impressed by the wisdom messages displayed along the roads. The governments of these wonderful nations are really to be praised for their efforts to educate their people to drive carefully. Here are some of the messages I have noticed:
