Today we are leaving for Wales to attend an apostolic gathering. Zephry D’Souza from India has been with us for two weeks and is coming to the gathering together with servants of God from many other parts of the world. It is always a great joy to meet with fellow servants of God. I am convinced it will be a time in the presence of God, seeking his face, and a time of sharing insight from the Word. Hopefully we will also be able to hear from one another what God is doing in the different parts of the world from where we come.

A new Web browser
Today I have been blessed with a brand new laptop and a lot of new programs. I am now using the Open Office suite and the Opera Web browser and email program. I would like to be independent from the big MS dominance. Therefore I have decided to try it out for awhile. If it works out well I will leave the MS camp for good.
So far the Opera Web browser has been fast and easy to use and I am pleased with it! But is is a bit early to tell the final outcome yet. -
Moodle
The director of Kristen Brevskole, Håvard Kjøllesdal, visited us today. He came to inform and teach some of the teachers of Bergen Bible School of the features of Moodle and how to use it to enable the students to benefit more from their time at the Bible School.

Zephry D’Souza is visiting us
A few days ago our longstanding friend from India, Zephry D’Zousa arrived in Bergen to stay with us for about two weeks. He is one of my most dear and closest friends, We met first time in 1990 during a visit to England. That was the beginning of a wonderful covenant friendship and joining of hearts that has brought me great blessings.

Local election in Norway
We arrived home yesterday just in time to see the leaders of the political parties discussing the result of the local election that had just been finished earlier the same evening. Solveig and I voted beforehand because we would be away on election day. Ever since I reached the age when I could vote I have voted for righteous people. It is our duty to vote for people of integrity, wisdom and insight that our society may have the best possible government, locally and nationally.
I am quite amazed at the result of the election, and a little bit sad. I am sad because of the values behind the result, or the lack of values. But I am confident that the Lord has everything in control! These are the days of great opportunities for the gospel of the Kingdom of God in our society. My prayer is the the believers will raise to the challenge and bring the good news to our people, hungry for spiritual realities!

Visiting grandchildren in Leicester
This weekend we are visiting our grandchildren in Leicester in England. We arrived very late last night after some diversions due to road work. This morning all three grandchildren came to our bed to welcome us. Taj Kristian, Jai Ruben and Sunniva are wonderful kids. We have missed them very much since their short visit to Norway in July.

Harvesting
Earlier this summer we have been harvesting strawberries, blackcurrants, redcurrants, and gooseberries. My wife has made some wonderful jam. In fact she is making the best jam in the world, and I am a jam expert so I know what I am talking about!
We were late in harvesting the blackcurrants and some of them were over-ripe. Therefore many of them had fallen to the ground. We lost a lot of delicious blackcurrants because of that. God spoke to me through that incident.

The DNA of the church of Christ
Neil Cole gave us biblical teaching on the DNA of the church even though he admitted that naturally the term DNA is not used in the Bible. The reality of the DNA is actually used many times by Jesus when he speaks of the seeds being planted in the soil and so many times describes the organic nature of Kingdom of God.

At the Bible week this summer Neil Cole spoke on organic church planting. At one seminar he spoke on the foundation for organic church planting which starts with the most important question “Who is Jesus to you?”
