Visiting grandchildren in Leicester

This weekend we are visiting our grandchildren in Leicester in England. We arrived very late last night after some diversions due to road work. This morning all three grandchildren came to our bed to welcome us. Taj Kristian, Jai Ruben and Sunniva are wonderful kids. We have missed them very much since their short visit to Norway in July.

The grandchildren are now off to school and my laptop discovered a wire-less connection. So here I am writing a short entry. I have been able to download my emails and feel connected to the world!

God is good! He is arranging even the small things of life in a wonderful way for us. At home we have had a lot of rain lately but here the sun is shining and the temperature is very nice.

The best thing is however the presence of God that we can experience everywhere! It is so good to sit down to read and meditate on the Word. God is speaking to me through his word in the New Testament at the moment. I have been reading the NT several times this summer and have been built up in my faith. I have come to realize that Jesus gave very much time and attention to the Word of God. He was all the time referring to the Scriptures and he was always listening to the voice of his Father in everyday situations.

Even when we are playing with grandchildren God is speaking to us!
