Our annual
Easter Conference starts tonight. People from all over Norway will come
together to seek the Lord and to celebrate his presence. I am full of
excitements when I think of the Easter Conference as I am convinced that God
will come in power and glory in our midst. God is the one who is calling us
together and he is the one who will manifest himself among us to equip us to
serve his purpose in our generation.

A medical wonder
Our granddaughter was taken in a hurry to the national hospital on Monday because of a very serious heart problem. She had been given a diagnosis of an illness that was life threatening. According to the doctors she only had one year left to live. She is only six years old.
We have been praying for her and we have engaged many friends all around the world in prayer when she was taken to the national hospital in Oslo as the hospital in Stavanger could not treat her with her serious condition. Monday she had examinations and had many blood-tests. All the doctors were in agreement about her serious condition.
But we were praying for a miracle to take place. Many friends joined us in prayer.
The next day, on Tuesday, she had some more examination into the very heart itself. The doctors were amazed at what they discovered. They said that it was sensational. They said she is a medical wonder. They had never seen anything like it before!
Now, our Granddaughter is no longer suffering from the serious heart condition. She has been healed! There is still a small problem left, but even that seems to be in the process of being healed, according to the doctors.
Rejoice with us! God is good! He is answering our prayers!

The Web helps us in the real world
Today I have been very active on the Internet. It started in the morning with a long talk with Lars Gunnar on a manuscript he has written on the subject of "Saving baptism". Lars Gunnar is a gifted Bible teacher that explores the apostolic teaching and bring out new light and understanding from parts of the Scriptures that are normally not used in connection with baptism. I am very excited that God is raising up Bible teachers like Lars Gunnar with revelation knowledge of the Scriptures. We had a very good time going through his excellent material.

Visiting family and friends
From Thursday to Sunday Solveig and I have been visiting our family in the Stavanger area. We were able to visit my three brothers and see Solveig's two sisters and spend a lot of time with her old mother. We also had a good time with my old aunty Sara at the age of nearly 98 years. We stayed with our son David, his wife Lene and our two grandchildren Prince Jonathan and Princess Mathilde. What a joy!

Wonders in Kathmandu
I have just received an encouraging report from our covenant friend Henry Pradhan in Kathmandu. God is using him powerfully in that nation. He and his wife, Pabitra, are working hard to see people come to know Jesus Christ. They have been evicted from their flat six times in one year! They are renting flats from Hindus who does not like that so many poor visitor come to Henry and Pabitra for prayer and help. Therefore we are praying that God will enable us to raise funds for them to buy their own house as a base for their fruitful ministry. Read on to enjoy the report:

Destined for glory
Apostles and prophets are stewards of a revelation of the mystery of God that God destined for our glory before time began (1 Cor 2:7). The eternal purpose of God is to bring many sons and daughters to glory (Hebr.2:10). God wants a large family of sons and daughters conformed to the glorious image of his Son. Jesus Christ is the radiance of God's glory and the exact representation of his being (Hebr.1,3).

My blogging rest is over
This blogging rest was not planned. It just happened. I can't explain it, but after posting the many resolutions of Jonathan Edwards I didn't find time neither anything to write. But now I am back. I intend to revive my blog and continue to post new entries regularly, – as I have done for several years, except for this long break.
