Tuesday and Wednesday mornings are times of prayer and fellowship. This week I have been able to enjoy both of them. I really enjoy coming together with brother and friends for prayer. I will try to explain why it is such a wonderful time for me when I am able to be part of these two special prayer meetings!

Kingdom lifestyle – basic Christian community
Organic church growth and house churches are two sides of the same coin! Kingdom lifestyle and a basic Christian community can’t be separated! The Covenant Community is the community of the King of the Universe whose throne is founded on covenant love, mercy and righteousness! The basic Christian community starts in the family. It is not a meeting, but a shared life! It is not an organization, but a relationship! It is not centred on a building, but on a person: Jesus Christ. Only by knowing him through the revelation of the Spirit, we may enter into a personal relationship with him and with those who know him.
Today my friend Oddmund Ro came over to help me with some practical work outside my house. When the work was finished we had a nice lunch, prepared by Solveig, together. At the meal and after having enjoyed the meal, we were sharing hearts with one another. What a wonderful time! As we were only three of us together, we experienced basic Christian community. We were blessed and strengthen by sharing and having fellowship together. Outside the cold wind was blowing, but inside the gentle breeze of the Spirit was warming our hearts!

A Kingdom lifestyle
I am very happy that I was able to meet Wolfgang Simson during his seminar i Bergen. Today he finished his challenging teaching by giving us a toolbox for house church planting and multiplication of networks. During the seminar over the weekend he has killed all possible Traditional Christian holy cows. And he has done it in such a way that no one became angry at him. Actually I think he put words to the dream that many of us carry in our hearts of a dynamic Kingdom lifestyle by being communities of the Kingdom of God. I would like to share more of this in the time to come!

Seminar with Wolfgang Simson
Since Saturday I have been attending seminars with Wolfgang Simson and I have been stirred and encouraged. He is wonderfully radical, straight forward, simple and fervent in his faith! I was pleasant surprised that he did not preach house church as a method but as a lifestyle. In fact he was promoting a Kingdom lifestyle. I believe that he put words to the dream of many people as he shared his vision and told stories of what the Lord is doing in the world today.
