Fleire politiske parti har vedteke forslag om kjønnnøytral ekteskapslov og homofil adopsjon. Sterke pressgrupper har i lengre tid arbeida for dette. Til hausten kan dette forslaget koma opp i Stortinget. Valet i 2005 er eit lagnadsår for ekteskapet og familien i Noreg. Alle kristne må sjå ansvaret sitt og gjera det som kan gjerast for å ta vare på den tradisjonelle forståinga av ekteskapet som eit trufast forhold mellom ei kvinne og ein mann.

Creative life planning
Today I have together with some leaders in the church attended a course in strategic planning. It has been a very good time together in learning to become more effective in seeing our visions and intentions becoming realities.

Ei tid med velsigning
Vi var samla til bønn og eg opplevde at Gud kviskra i hjarta mitt: Dette er ei tid med velsigning. Eg vart glad og fylt med glede og undring: Korleis vil du velsigna Herre? Eg vart ståande for Guds åsyn med venting og sitrande spenning i meg. Gud kjem med velsigning, – det er godt og herleg når velsigninga frå Gud flyt mellom menneske. Medan eg grunda på dei orda som brann seg inn i hjarta: dette er ei tid med velsigning, såg eg brått eit bilete, eit syn i mi ånd.

Being a good leader
This morning I had the privilege of speaking to the pastors in town about being a good leader. We met in the Methodist Church. We were less than twenty pastors. I was sharing some simple insight on seeing people and caring for them by getting involved in their lives. Afterward we had a very fruitful dialog. I was very much encouraged by the feedback I got on my sharing. God is good!

Everyday I can enter into human lives

-conjuring up dreaming melodies of the heart

A poem that is putting words on the sprouting faith
-calling forth cries for salvation
-giving birth to prayer for forgiveness

Communion with God through the word
I love the communion with God. I love to hear him speak to me. I love to listen to his word. I love to let his word dwell in me. In the communion with God i am learning to know him – and myself.
