Updating a book
The last few days I have been updating and enlarging one of my old books. I wrote this book on the purpose of life for more than thirty years ago. It has been published in five languages and sold in 300000 copies! It has been out of print for awhile and I am constantly receiving telephone calls from people who are urging me to have it reprinted.

Chandrakant Chavada is a man of vision
Early this morning I took Chandrakant to the airport. He is now well on his way back to India. He has been with us one and a half week. The last few days I have been interpreting him in some meeting. He is focusing on having a vision and is telling many great stories of what God is doing in India.

The Friday Fax
For some time I have been receiving the Friday Fax. I have been bless by this newsletter and will recommend it for subscription to everyone! Today I have included a testimony of the healing of a deaf girl.
Every week, the Friday Fax provides news about what God is doing around the world. It is published in German by Wolfgang Simson, who started publishing it during his time as a missionary with Dawn Ministries. It is now translated into a number of languages, including English, Chinese and Japanese.

I had a comment yesterday on my post on Emerging Churches and Emerging Leaders from Joe Walsh. He is the editor of Current Christian News. I reccommend this site for all who want to pray the news! I have also added it on my list of helpful links.

The priority of marriage
Married people have to have their priority right if the marriage is to be successful! Without a proper priority the marriage relationship of husband and wife will come under pressure. We need to avoid that to take place!

What is a marriage?
Nowadays, many people live in co-habitation relationships and more and more children are born outside marriage. It is also common to have casual sexual relationships. Why is it a problem to fall in love, move in together, and have children? Why can’t Christians approve of such a way of living together? Why can’t we have sex with whoever we want whenever we want? Quite simply because some important things have to fall into place first! Co-habitation relationships and sexually unrestrained behaviour is opposed to God’s good provision for human life.

Marriage discussion
We have just finished a wonderful weekend at Gullboth discussing marriage, divorce and remarriage. I had prepared a paper which I presented. After my presentation we had a lively and very good discussion. It was very interesting to listen to the various ways people argued for their view. Some argued from scriptual principles others seemed to be more pragmatic and some even traditionally dogmatic!

Retreat and visiting friends
In the first few days of the week I have been attending the Pastoral Retreat at Gullbotn. Sixteen pastors have been together for fellowship, prayer and planning. We have had a very profitable time and I think all of us are encouraged by the reports that we have had of what God is doing.
