During Ed Silvoso’s visit to Bergen recently he gave some very bold statements. "Bergen is the Gateway to Scandinavia and North Europe like Antioch was Asia Minor!" We have had prophecies along these lines over Bergen coming from many different servants of God. I don’t necessary believe that Bergen is the only Gateway to the rest of Scandinavia but according to the many prophetic words to our city it must be a very important gateway!

As a church even Christian Fellowship Bergen has received many prophetic words on being an apostolic base like the Antioch church. I was encouraged when Ed Silvoso spoke of Bergen as an Antioch gateway city. Many of the prophetic promises given to our church came to my mind as he spoke those words! I am convinced that God will fulfill every word he has spoken to us!

When I was visiting Finland last year together with Morten Askeland, we had a very exciting time. In every place we visited we found that people lit up when they realized that we came from Bergen. Then they started to speak to us about the "Kongevegen" – The Kings Road". We had now clue what they were stalking about so we inquired about it. We were then told about several prophetic words that had come to Christians in Finland about a move of the Spirit along the old "Kings Road" from Bergen to Oslo to Stockholm to Helsinki – to St. Petersburg! When Ed Silvoso spoke of Bergen as the gateway to Scandinavia I was again reminded of these prophecies that was referred to us during our visit to Finland! I am convinced that we will see a mighty breakthrough from God in our city and from here God will shine forth to the entire nation of Norway and all our Scandinavian and North European neighbors!

Ed Silvoso reminded us that in our situation, the enemy of faith is not unbelief but our memories! We must not allow our memories to keep us back or hinder us to press forward to lay hold of everything God has promised! "If you want to see what you have not seen yet, you must do what you have not done yet!" When you believe God, you don’t need to worry about the resources, for God will provide everything you need to do his will!"

A change has taken place in the heavenly places above Bergen! The enemy has been defeated. We don’t need to fight the devil, he is already defeated and disarmed. We have to fight ourselves. We have to fight our memories. We have to fight our complacency. There is an open heaven. The angels of God are visiting us. Something new is about to break forth!
