  • Levande kristentru smittar

    Eg har vore på seminar med Wolfgang Simson i Kristkirken i Bergen sist helg. Arrangørar var Oase, Doulos Nettverket og Kristent Nettverk. Mykje av det vi høyrde i undervisinga kan lesast i boka ”Houses that change the world” som nettopp har kome på norsk med tittelen: ”Hjem som forandrer verden”. Dette er ei bok vi treng å lesa under bønn med, eit ope hjarta og vilje til handling. Nøkkelen til framtida ligg hjå dei kristne som har lært å høyra Guds røyst og som er kvikke til å gjera det han seier. Det sunne kristenlivet og den smittande trua finst hjå dei som elskar Gud over alle ting og som lyder han!

  • Planting church planting movements!

    The Lutheran Charismatic movement Oase, Doulos Nettverket and Kristent Nettverk together, arranged the seminars with Wolfgang Simson last weekend in Bergen. Only around sixty to eighty people attended the seminars. The two first days the focus was on how to bring in the plentiful harvest through planting church planting movements. The two next days the focus was on being church in the third millennium.

    He started his seminar by giving us some insight in what God is doing in the world today. God is doing something new. The traditional way of Christianity is fading away. A new life is breaking forth. Jesus Christ is reforming his church so that his church may be able to fulfil the Great Commission. Christians in the West must realise that we are students only and not the teachers. We have to learn from what God is doing in China, India, Bangla Desh and Pakistan. What God is doing will change everything. Our Ecclesiology, use of money and Christian unity will have to change.

    Our ability to practice the Word of God that comes to us through the Bible and God’s prophets will determine our future!

  • A Kingdom lifestyle

    I am very happy that I was able to meet Wolfgang Simson during his seminar i Bergen. Today he finished his challenging teaching by giving us a toolbox for house church planting and multiplication of networks. During the seminar over the weekend he has killed all possible Traditional Christian holy cows. And he has done it in such a way that no one became angry at him. Actually I think he put words to the dream that many of us carry in our hearts of a dynamic Kingdom lifestyle by being communities of the Kingdom of God. I would like to share more of this in the time to come!

  • Seminar with Wolfgang Simson

    Since Saturday I have been attending seminars with Wolfgang Simson and I have been stirred and encouraged. He is wonderfully radical, straight forward, simple and fervent in his faith! I was pleasant surprised that he did not preach house church as a method but as a lifestyle. In fact he was promoting a Kingdom lifestyle. I believe that he put words to the dream of many people as he shared his vision and told stories of what the Lord is doing in the world today.

  • The trees of the Lord are well cared for!

    I was blessed by this phrase from Psalm 104:17 this morning: The trees of the Lord are well cared for, they are watered abundantly! What a wonderful position to be in! I am a tree of the Lord. I have been planted by God himself to be in his presence. I am well cared for. I am watered abundantly. I have everything I need. I shall want nothing! What a blessing to belong to the Lord!

  • Agents of provision

    As I have been searching the Scripture, I have been convinced, that trees are images of people acting and living in certain ways. I have been meditating on the Green Tree concept these days, as it has found a resonance in my heart. I believe that every follower of Jesus Christ is supposed to be a Green Tree! And certainly, all the ministry gifts of the Risen Lord are Green Trees, as they are living in the presence of God, and enjoying a fresh anointing by the Holy Spirit. As Green Trees we are God’s agents of provision to his people!
