A few days ago I received the Joel News with a report on my friend Silas from Sikkim. I took this picture on the sunrise in Gangtok, the capital of Sikkim when we were with Silas. I want to share this exciting news of how God is using my friend with all my other friends!

Special prayer meetings
Tuesday and Wednesday mornings are times of prayer and fellowship. This week I have been able to enjoy both of them. I really enjoy coming together with brother and friends for prayer. I will try to explain why it is such a wonderful time for me when I am able to be part of these two special prayer meetings!

Kingdom lifestyle – basic Christian community
Organic church growth and house churches are two sides of the same coin! Kingdom lifestyle and a basic Christian community can’t be separated! The Covenant Community is the community of the King of the Universe whose throne is founded on covenant love, mercy and righteousness! The basic Christian community starts in the family. It is not a meeting, but a shared life! It is not an organization, but a relationship! It is not centred on a building, but on a person: Jesus Christ. Only by knowing him through the revelation of the Spirit, we may enter into a personal relationship with him and with those who know him.
Today my friend Oddmund Ro came over to help me with some practical work outside my house. When the work was finished we had a nice lunch, prepared by Solveig, together. At the meal and after having enjoyed the meal, we were sharing hearts with one another. What a wonderful time! As we were only three of us together, we experienced basic Christian community. We were blessed and strengthen by sharing and having fellowship together. Outside the cold wind was blowing, but inside the gentle breeze of the Spirit was warming our hearts!

Wolfgang Simson utfordrar!
Wolfgang Simson er ein nær medarbeidar til Victor Choudrie som eg møtte i India for nokre år sidan. Gud brukte dei til å starta ei rørsle av husforsamlingar som startar husforsamlingar. I dag er det mange slike multipliserande nettverk av husforsamlingar i India, Bangla Desh og Pakistan. I 1996 starta dei 50 nye husforsamlingar i India. I 1997 braut Gud inn mellom dei og talet steig til 750 nye husforsamlingar. I dag er det om lag 200.000 nye og levande husforsamlingar i India. I Bangla Desh har 600.000 muslimar kome til tru på Kristus og vorte døypte og lagde til nye husforsamlingar dei siste åra. I Pakistan har det berre den siste månaden vorte starta 2-3000 nye husforsamlingar!

Churches Plan a Worldwide Internet Focus Day on 7 May
"I encourage all evangelical leaders to take advantage of this initiative and explore their options for using the Web to win as many as possible to Christ," says Pastor Ted Haggard of the US National Association of Evangelicals. Other Christian leaders also ask churches to use this new resource to learn more about the potential of the Web to communicate the Gospel. Building on the success of the first web awareness day held last year, a second annual Internet Evangelism Day is set for 7 May 2006.

Godly words are a fountain of life
I have been reading in Proverbs 10 this morning. I was struck by the many verses about the importance of our words. The words of a good person give life, like a fountain of water! But the words of the wicked create violence. Wise people speak with understanding, they don’t speak everything they know, but the foolish talk too much and are ruined. The words of a good person are like pure silver, they will help many others. A good person says wise things, he knows the right thing to say! He is speaking blessing and building up the society!
But it is also important to receive words the right way! Whoever accepts correction is on the way to life! If you are wise you will love correction! Teach the wise, and they will become even wiser; teach good people, and they will learn even more! Wisdom begins with respect for the Lord, and understanding begins with knowing the Holy One. If you live wisely, you will live a long life; wisdom will add years to your life!

What are you willing to sacrifice?
According to Wolfgang Simson the big question is, "What are we willing to give up in order to see millions of people come into the Kingdom?" Our traditions and our fears can keep us from becoming the people of God who with humility and gentleness can be used by God to deliver His message of love and redemption to a hurting and dying world.

Church multiplication movement
A mega shift is taking place in the world today. The reporta are numerous. The voices are so many that we can’t ignore them any longer. The Spirit is moving and more and more ordinary believers, like me, are moved by the Spirit to to great things!
I will report more on the Wolfgang Simson seminar, but I came across a very good interview with Neil Cole that I want to share with my friends!
