The last few days I have had the privilege of teaching nearly 30 young students at Bergen Bible School. I have been teaching on understanding the Bible and I have tried to give the students some hermeneutical keys in right exegesis.

The Spirit filled bishop
The highlight at our visit to Wales was to meet the Spirit filled bishop of the Cuba Methodist Church. My friend Keri Jones met him on his first visit to Cuba. He went to Cuba according to a prophetic word and met this man according to that word. I was a great privilege to fellowship with the bishop and hear him preach the word of God.

Attending a conference in Wales
Solveig and I are soon leaving for Wales. Two of my fellow elders are traveling together with us. Tomorrow their wives and another elder will join us. The first two days three of us will take part in an apostolic team gathering and the two following days we will all attend an international conference for elders and leading ministries at All Nations Centre in Cardiff. We will return to Norway Sunday night.

Country house
Yesterday we took over our new country house! We have been looking for a small farm or an large old farm-house to restore, but have had to give up that dream. There have been many projects but none of them have come through. Therefore we settled for a country house. The house we found is located in a forest and borders to a lake. Here we will be able to fish all year and to take bath in the summer. We are happy that there is not much work to do on the house, but I will have plenty of opportunities to use my muscles on the forest and the plot of land at 2500 square meters. -
Summer in September
Warm sun was shining from a clear sky and no clouds could be seen at all. From my kitchen window I can see the fjord, it is a wonderful view. There are no waves or move on the surface. The fjord is like the mirror of the sun, shining and glittering of silver and gold. It is like a chest of treasures full.
A motor speedboat is crossing the sea, making small waves, but no sound is heard from the distance. The grass on the fields and lawns are still green and roses and other flowers can still be picked in the garden. Some birds are singing and lazy flies are buzzing.
As the hours passes it becomes warmer and warmer and the temperature goes higher and reach record for Bergen in September, 26,5 degrees. More and more people are to be seen outdoors and by evening time a lot of kids are having fun ,celebrating their friend in a Birthday party. They are playing in the garden across our road, laughing and shouting.
What a wonderful day it has been, even with a lot of things and work I had to, I really had enjoyed this taste of summer. The only difference we could notice by the evening and night time, it is another season because it became darker faster. Praise God for his warm smile to us, giving us summer in September.

Ethiopia is a special country
I am back home after a wonderful and exciting time in Ethiopia. We have seen the grace of God at work among his people. Something very good is going on in this special nation that has had the gospel for nearly 2000 years. It is fascinating to think that the good new of Jesus Christ came to Ethiopia nearly one thousand years before it reached Norway.

People is coming to Christ every day
We are having a wonderful time in Addis Ababa, the great capitol of Ethiopia. The Ethiopian people are very friendly and open. We are enjoying fellowship with our brothers and sisters here. We have been ministering the word of God in a conference which attracts around four thousands peoples. The main hall only takes two thousand five hundred, but they have erected a tent on the outside. The tent was full as well, so they brought in more chairs for people to sit in the open air listening to the word of God.
Every day we have been seeing people come to Christ. Every day we have experienced the presence of God. Every day we have had reports of healing taking place. God is good!
ONLY THE WEATHER HAS BEEN A SURPRISE! This is the end of the rainy winter season. And it is the end of the Ethiopian year. On Monday they will celebrate their new year! We have had rain every day, but today the sun was out as well. That was very pleasant.

To night I am leaving for Ethiopia together with Morten Askeland and Melaku. We will be away for one week and I am not sure if I will be able to connect to Internet to blog while I am away. We will be visiting a large church in Addis Abeba led by Teraku, a servant of God that I met earlier this year. Morten and Melaku have been visiting them before.
This is my firts visit to Ethiopia and I am full of expectations.
