The last few days I have had the privilege of teaching nearly 30 young students at Bergen Bible School. I have been teaching on understanding the Bible and I have tried to give the students some hermeneutical keys in right exegesis.
Normally I am starting this teaching by giving them some crazy interpretation of some portions of the Scripture, with great "anointing" and conviction. Normally the new students accept everything in the beginning, but as the interpretation is becoming more weird, some of them starts doubting and asking questions. I try to convince them. But eventually I tell them the truth and ask them to delete all the notes from my crazy interpretation.
I hope to teach them to think for themselves and to see what the Scripture actually says.
I am always having a good time with the students and they seem to enjoy our time together as well.
Today I am leaving for Tromsø where we will spend the weekend.
