Friday Solveig and I flew to Skien to join the covenant community for a family retreat at Vegårstun camp site. Our long standing friends Åge and Astrid took us by car to the beautiful camp site in the forest by a lake. This is a perfect place for a retreat with the entire family.

From the very beginning we could sense there was a purpose for our gathering, and that the presence of God was with us. People were coming expectantly and with a deep thirst for God. I think no one were disappointed or untouched by God during the weekend. We were reading the Scripture together, dialoguing and listening to the voice of God.

During the weekend we had plenty of time to fellowship and interact with one another. I got to know several new people and that is always a blessing. The children and the young people were taking part in a good way. Some of them heard from God and brought words from God to people who needed to hear from God concerning their future!
Saturday evening we had a special time in the presence of God. We had a good time in praise and worship. Then the Lord intervened and touched us with his power. Some people were healed, most of us received prophetic words from God. We were all overwhelmed by the presence of God. The power of God was evidently at work among us.
