  • Mørket må vika for Ordets lys

  • The Tabloid Prophet

I have been very blessed by visiting Knut G. Osland web page. He has done a tremendous job and is communicating very well with the layout and content of his page. He is covering a lot of topics and is commenting on things that are happening now. He is giving excellent teaching on many hot subjects! I wish we had many more prophets like him. He call himself "The Tabloid Priest" but "The Tabloid Prophet" is a better name for him! The only regret so far is that his pages are only in Norwegian. I hope he will soon have an English version!

  • Building the House of God

As I was reading the words of the prophet Haggai this morning I once again was struck by the importance of having the right priority in building the House of God and not looking after our own interests first!

  • Experiementing with a LMS

When I visited Trondheim a few weeks ago, my friend Håvard Kjøllesdal gave me an introduction in Moodle which is a Learning Management System that Kristen Nettskole has started to use. I found the program so exciting that I started a course at once and invited some friends to join me in the experiement.

  • Celebrating 17th of May with grandchildren

Dscf9645 Yesterday we had a wonderful day with our grandchildren at Toppe. Jakob was wearing the brass-band uniform and playing at the 17th of May Parade at Mjølkeråen. The proud grandparents enjoyed it very much!

  • Thank God for 17th of May!

Dscf9695Dscf9647I am trying hard to place these pictures in a proper relation to one another but it is very difficult to achieve that goal. But I will not easily give in so I will keep on writing until I get all four pictures from our celebration in Bergen today on the left side of the page.

  • A great celebration

Dscf6212 Dscf6215 Dscf6197 Today all of Norway is celebrating 17th of May – our constitution day, our day of freedom and dignity! It is a day of thankfulness and og joy. God has been so good to us and we want to glory in his grace and mercy towards us!

  • Renewing refreshing

    I think we
live in very exiting times. Perhaps some will view it differently because of
all the bad news and things that happen in the world, wars, tragedies, famine,
catastrophes and other sad or bad news. But for me as a believer I think it is
great to be alive these days. From many parts of the world we read and hear
reports about people coming to Christ, being baptized and receiving the Holy
Spirit. God is working according to His Word and His Promises. These are days
with the outpouring of the Spirit. The Holy Spirit is falling on men and women,
sons and daughters, young and old. According to God’s word, written in the
prophet Joel, the outpouring of the Spirit is for all people. Hallelujah!

  • Min draum for Kristent Fellesskap i Bergen

  • Spending time with the prophet Nahum

This morning I have been spending time with the prophet Nahum. He received his message of judgment over Nineveh through visions. It is quite fascinating how he describes God when he is pronouncing the judgment on a cruel nation that had subdued other nations.
