  • Gathering with the evangelists

I have just arrived home from a gathering for evangelists at Gullbotn. The evangelist Arne G. Skagen has called together people with an evangelistic anointing and calling. It is always encouraging being together with evangelistic persons.

  • silence in the house

    To night I
have sat down in a soft comfortable chair, enjoying the silence in the house
and the peaceful atmosphere in a tidy room. The only sound I can hear are birds
singing outside in the garden. It has become darker now because of dark clouds
on the sky and a cold wind is blowing.

    Erling is
attending a gathering at Gullbotn, I have been washing and tidying in the house
a couple of hours after he left. Earlier today we said bye to our three lively,
wonderful grandchildren who lives in Bergen
. They had stayed with us since
yesterday. We were playing with them and had a lot of fun. Jakob helped his
grandfather in the garden today. Little Lars woke up extremely early this
morning but he kept going full of life and joy. Probably he fell asleep in the
car when the parents picked them up after lunch and they went home. It resulted
that two grandparents had to lay down and have a rest when they left. But the
joy of having them was great. We went to by some plants after dinner that we
will have in the garden. Hopefully the weather will become nice the coming
    days.

    But just
now it is good to rest , to write, meditate and to pray and communicate with my
heavenly Father. It is easier to listen in a peaceful quiet surrounding.

  • A blogging church

We really enjoyed our visit to Trondheim last weekend. The covenant community in that city is a blogging church as well! We were delighted to discover that more than half of the people in the fellowship were bloggers as well! What a wonderful emerging church! Many of them have written of our visit, bless them!

  • Encouraging days in Trondheim

    Last night
    we arrived home from Trondheim
    , spending 4-5 days with a young
emerging church in the town. We were visiting 3 years back the start of a cell
church with a handful people. Now they had increased in numbers and met in 3
cells. Most of them were students studying at the university or high schools.
We stayed at one of the leaders home, Kathrine and Håvard. They are an
excellent couple and we enjoyed to stay with them and they showed great
hospitality. We also had a wonderful afternoon, having dinner with Benedicte
and Anders and their happy 14 months old son, Sebastian. He was so sweet, so
confident and he won my heart!

    We had
several gatherings and meetings. Erlings teaching was very well received. We
had times of dialogs, we were talking and laughing together. Saturday was a
lovely, warm day and we had barbeque, fun and fellowship. The last day we had a
wonderful time of refreshing from the Lord, praying and prophesying, they got
many encouraging words for the future for themselves individually and for the
church. It was so great to be together with them. They are so zealous for the
Lord. I am confident that they will continue to grow in maturity and numbers. I
was exited and grateful to the Lord that we could have the privilege of being
with the young people in this emerging church. But I must add I feel young in
    heart! Praise God!
