I have just arrived home from another gathering of leaders at Gullbotn Conference Center. Monday and Tuesday 15/20 leaders from 8 different churches have been together to seek the Lord and to intercede for the city of Bergen and the entire nation of Norway. The gathering has been led by Reidar Paulsen from the Charismatic/Lutheran Christ Church.

Gathering of leaders
We have just finished a gathering of leaders at Gullbotn Conference Center. 110 leaders from all parts of Norway have been together to seek the Lord, fellowship and to receive apostolic teaching and instruction.

Ordtak om livet
Norleif Askeland har ein blogg eg i lang tid har hatt glede av å lesa. Han hadde nettopp eit innlegg han kalla for ordtak om livet som er verdt å sjå på!
- Det er viktigare at menneske møter kvarandre enn at dei har møter med kvarandre.
- Det er betre å snakka ope med ein bror, enn berre å vera open for å snakka med han.

Rød/grønn siger
Så er valet over og det er klart at den rød/grønne alliansen har vunne! No treng vi å be alt vi kan om Guds signing over den nye regjeringa! Vi må be at Jens Stoltenberg må få visdom til å velja dei rette folka til dei rette departementa, og vi må be om velsigning over arbeidet deira. Vi må be at dei kjem opp med gode og rettferdige løysingar på utfordringane i samfunnet og at dei må få nåde til å styra godt til signing og framgang for heile landet!

Red/green victory
The red/green coalition won the election in the most thrilling way I remember from any previous election! We will now concentrate our prayers on blessing them and asking God to give the coming prime minister wisdom to choose the right people for the right positions and the ability to lead the country in a good way!
We know that God is in control and that every government is dependant on the blessing of God to govern well to the benefit of all the people!

National election
Today there is a national election for a new parliament in Norway. Solveig and I have already been to the local school to vote. This election is very important as the leftwing coalition could win majority. If they do they will introduce several laws that are bad news for all believers. Personally I support so many of the social concerns of the socalist parties and I want to strengthen the welfare system they have created in Norway. We are living in a well functioning society and most of the people are well off. It is a pity that the people with the best social solutions are so anti Christian in many areas. Believers all over Norway are praying for the election and believe that whatever the result God will use it for the advance of his Kingdom!

Jesus fest
Last night I was together with other Christian leaders invited to join a big event in the city. The youth leaders of several different congregations have been praying together for a long time. God spoke to them to hire the Grieg Hall, the most important cultural venue of Bergen, to gather the young believers to prayer, praise and worship – a Jesus fest!

Good news from Rebekah
I have just read an exciting email from Rebekah from India. I was so touched and blessed by the good news she is telling that I had to share it. We need to continue to pray for Rebekah and all the believers in India as this is a time of spiritual visitation for that great nation! This story will lead to many new stories of people having their prayer answered and who are being dramatically changed by coming to know Jesus Christ, the Lord and Saviour of the world!
