Our brothers and sisters in India need our prayers! Fundamentalist Hindus are persecuting Christians in many states of the great nation of India. The police don’t seem to bother. The Christians seem to have no legal rights or protection from local government. The constitution guarantees religious freedom and central government of India is working to ensue the rights of all the minorities.

Recently I have received several notices of Christians being persecuted in India. Religious freedom is guaranteed for everybody in the Indian Constitution and the government is not involved in the persecution. However, in some states run by the fascistic BJP the police is closing their eyes or even harassing the victims of religious persecution.

I met a very young man of God during my visit to India some time ago, his name is Dinesh. He looked like a teenager, but I guess he actually was in the early twenties! He was very calm, kind of surrounded by divine peace, as he told his story.

Solveig and I are going to Gullbotn tonight to attend a gathering of young men and women with a call of God on their lives to be servants of the Word. I am very excited about this gathering of about forty people from many different parts of Norway.

We will spend time in the presence of God. We will go to the Word and take time to listen to the voice of God. We will dialog and we will seek God together. It is a very high calling to be chosen by God to be a servant of the Word in this age in which we live. I count it a great privilege to meet with these zealous young men and women who want to serve the Word in their generation.

VDM  – Verbi Dei Minister is the most honorable title anyone can be given!

At the Bible School I have been teaching on the ministry of the prophets, how they receive their message from God and how they deliver it. They are communicators of divine truth and revealers of divine life.
