During my stay in England one of my teeth started to ache and since I returned home it has gone worse and worse. I have even seen a dentist, but he didn’t want to do anything, since it wasn’t fully clear to him what caused my pain. He told me to wait for my personal dentist to return from vacation and let him examine me and decide what to do. I have been on painkillers ever since, and will continue that way while I am eagerly waiting for my dentist to be back to work. I must admit that I have very little tolerance for pain. I am no hero!

Tekstane i denne boka har eg
arbeidt på i mange år. Eg har skrive om draumar frå Guds hjarte for meg sjølv i
lengre tid enn eg har skrive på noka bok eg har gjeve ut. For meg er dette meir
enn ei bok. Eg prøver å setja ord på noko som er større enn det som kan
uttrykkjast i ord og bokstavar. Draumane er meir enn lengt. Dette er noko eg
lever for.Boka er ei gåve til dei som
får oppleva morgondagen. Ho er skriven for dei som vil vera med å skapa eit
betre tilvære for menneskeslekta. Eg skriv for ein ny generasjon av drøymande menneske, ein ny visjonær generasjon som
våger å leva ut det dei trur på, ber om og lengtar etter. -
The Kingdom of God is advancing
During the World Watch conference in England last week we were given good reports from many countries in the world. In spite of all the difficulties and problems Christians are facing in most places, the Kingdom of God is advancing. In India Chandrakant and his co-workers have seen nearly 26.000 persons come to Christ, and the have started almost 200 churches. From Congo we also had encouraging reports of 200 churches being started by our brothers and sisters there in the last few years. In the Philippines Noralv Askeland is building a training centre that is soon finished and which will excellerate the planting of new churches in the Philippines as well as in many muslim countries. All over the world the Spirit is moving in powerful ways to bring people to Christ. I am so excited to be alive in a time like this!

World Watch
Since I returned from Cuba I have been quite busy and as you have noticed I have not updated my blog often since that visit. However I have been able to spend some valuable time with young believers as a response to a prophetic word I got this summer. God is raising up a new prophetic generation and by his grace I will be part of it! God is so good.
In a few hours time I am going to England to attend a conference called World Watch in the Midlands. The conference is organized by Ministries Without Borders. I have been asked to give a report on Nepal and our involvement there since my first visit to that Himalayan nation in 1971.I am looking forward to hear reports on what God is doing in many parts of the world these days we are together. -

The new
theological seminary of the Methodist Church on Cuba was inaugurated during our
recent visit to Cuba. It was being hold in a massive building complex once
confiscated by the government after the revolution but recently given back to
the Methodist Church together with a permission to open a theological seminary.
This is the first seminary of this kind opened on Cuba since the revolution. -
Orkanherjingar på Cuba
Eg har nettopp har kome heim frå ein tur
til Cuba kor eg har sett herjingane til orkanane og vore med på opninga av
metodistane sitt nye teologiske seminar i Havana.Bakgrunnen for dette besøket på Cuba er
eit profetord eg fekk til Keri Kones frå Wales som var ein av hovudtalarane på
påskekonferansen vår i Bergen for fire og eit halvt år sidan. Ordet gjekk ut på
at han skulle reisa til Cuba kor han skulle møta nokre kristne han skulle
velsigna. Då han kom tilbake til UK la han profetordet fram for medarbeidarane
sine som bad over det og stadfesta det profetord med nye detaljar om koss Gud
skulle leia dei til rette folk. -
Hurricane season in Cuba
I have just arrived back home in Norway after one wonderful week in Cuba. We have be seeing what God is doing in the beautiful island from the west to the east. When we arrived the hurricane Gustav had just past over the western part of the island. I was not a beautiful sight to see the devastation caused by the hurricane. In one city it seemed like all houses had their roofs damaged or totally removed. Many hoses had completely collapsed. The bold people were trying to clear up and use whatever they could to try to repair their houses even though many of them were beyond repair!
