We have just
arrived in New Dehli after a very good time in Udaipur. During our stay in
Udaipur we were not able to connect to the Internet. What a joy to discover
that at the hotel where we are staying at the moment we could connect to a
wireless Internet connection! I have a wonderful story I would like to share
with my friends.

My friends
Rangy told me that ten days ago he was approached by a man who wanted him to
come and pray for her sister, the wife of a Hindu Sadhu – a so called holy man.
His wife had been ill for three years. She had been tormented and in much pain
and her back been bent. She was not able to walk straight.

Rangy told
the man approaching him that he could not go to the Hindu family to pray for the
wife without an invitation from the husband, the Sadhu himself. He explained
that he needed the permission from the Sadhu before he could come and pray for
his wife.

The Sadhu eventually
sent his brother in law to bring Rangy to his house to pray for his wife that
suffered a lot. As he was brought to the house of the Sadhu he noticed that on
both side of the gangway leading to the house there was lots of different
idols. Inside the house he saw many more idols. When he met the Sadhu he asked
him, “Have the idols not helped your wife?” The Sadhu answered, “None of the
idols has been able to help my wife. None of my rituals, pujas or sacrifices
has been of any help. Even my occult practices have had no effect at all!”

By now
Rangy was ready to pray. As he started to pray in the name of Jesus Christ a
big snake appeared in the room. All the people fled the house as they saw the
big snake. Rangy poured some water on the snake and commanded the snake to
leave the house in the name of Jesus Christ. The snake obeyed his command and
found his way out of the house. Then Rangy prayed all night for the wife of the
Hindu Sadhu. By the dawn of the next day she was completely healed and set free
from demon powers. All her pain left her and she could walk upright.

The Sadhu
and his wife with their entire family came to Christ as a result of this
miracle. They threw all the idols out of the house and destroyed them along
with all the idols at the gangway. When the neighbours came to know of what had
happened they brought their sick family members to Rangy for him to pray for
them as well.
