Praise God! After som many days of disconnectedness I am connected to the Internet again! The last few days have been so busy that I have not been able to blog. I am so happy that the Lord has provided a oppurtunity today so write an entry.

When I stayed home to rest the other day, my friends had a wonderful time at at village outside Darjeeling. It took them two and an half hopurs to reach the place. They were warmly welcomed. Arne functioned very well in words of knowledge. Ten people came to receive Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour. Some good healings took place! My freinds were very happy and excited when they returned from the village.

It was so good to arrive in Darjeeling Saturday night. Henry and Jyoti met us at the airport and took us by two cars up the hills to the beautiful town of Darjeeling – The Queen of the Hills. It took us about five hours to reach our destination. Immediately we were taken to meet with the covenant community that was waiting for us. It was wonderful to see our dear friends again. They gave us a very warm welcome!
Sunday and Monday we have been togehter with these wonderful people. We have experienced the presence of God and shared in the blessings of God. We have seen people receive Christ as their Lord and Saviour. We have also seen some good healings taken place. A lady testified of being instantly healed from ulcerus! Differents kinds of pains in the bodies of the believers have disappeared! Yesterday many believers received the baptism in the Holy Spirit.

During our many visits to India we have prayed for many childless couples to have children. Each time the parents proudly present their miracle child to us on our next visit, is a time of great joy and thanksgiving!
This time we have heard some amazing stories of miracle children. A lady who was 82 years old and never had any children gave birth to a healthy child after prayer! Another lady at the age of 70 plus, gave birth to two miracle children after prayer! This lady had lost three children!
We are hearing some heart-breaking stories of parents loosing their children. The ratio of child death is very high in this nation. When we hear these stories we feel so sorry for the parents but at the same time our heart is filled with gratitude to the Lord for his goodness towards us. Only one of our sons has gone before us to be with our Lord. We have still five children with us even though they are scattered all over Norway and even England. Then we have been blessed with 11 grandchildren! What a good God we serve!

Early this morning Carol and Keri left for the airport. They are first going to New Dehli. Then they have to go to the International terminal of Indira Gandhi International Airport from where they fly to the UK.
It felt empty in the hotel this morning when we came down for breakfast. Our friends were gone. No more joking and laughter for this time. Keri has been full of life and full of fun. We have had such a wonderful time together. We have enjoyed every minute.
The last few days Keri has been ministering to the leaders of the covenant community. His simple preaching of the Word creates faith and his funny acting makes all the people laugh. His sessions are always happy sessions! It has been so good to see him in action, full of life, full of joy!
Solveig and me have one more day in Jaipur before we together with Zephry go to New Dehli to meet with a big delegation of Norwegian brothers and sisters! From there we proceed to Darjeeling.
Today we will have a wonderful time with our dear friends Brenda and Zephry. They are very precious to us and they have been serving the covenant community faithfully for years!

I have just been talking to Bherulal. He is a fine young man studying at the covenant school in Jaipur. He told me the most remarkable story about his mother being raised from the dead!

We are having a wonderful time with the wonderful people of the Jaipur Covenant Community. They are really special people. During the years they have become our close friends. We can see the glory of God among them. The grace of God is evident in this community.

During our time in Udaipur we were listening to some wonderful reports of the goodness of God. One aftermoon all the servants of God that we were with told stories of God’s mighty acts through them and the covenant community.

Today we have been one full week in India. It has been a most wonderful time for Solveig and me to be together with Carol and Keri Jones. First we went to Amritsar in the state of Punjab, the city famous for the Golden Temple, the Sikh shrine. We went by the Shatabi train from New Dehli. The train was a pleasant surprise as we were travelling the Executive Class. We had snacks, drinks and dinner on the journey. All the service was excellent and it was all included in the price of the ticket! It took us about six hours to cover 452 km for 16 GB Pounds each!
