When I stayed home to rest the other day, my friends had a wonderful time at at village outside Darjeeling. It took them two and an half hopurs to reach the place. They were warmly welcomed. Arne functioned very well in words of knowledge. Ten people came to receive Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour. Some good healings took place! My freinds were very happy and excited when they returned from the village.

I was wise in resting my acking ancle. Today the acking is gone! I have had my own little miracle! My computer has been behaving very funny, to say it nicely! Suddenly it doesn’t work, and when i try to start it I am not able to get it to function at all! It has been very frustrating! I put my hands on the laptop and prayed in the name of the Lord and immediately it work! But the miracle didn’t last long. Next day I had the same problems! But I still believe God to make it work properly for the rest of my journey!
We arrived in Bhubaneswar yesterday evening. Today we have had a very good time with our covenant friends here. Noralv has been giving some good teaching on the Fear of the Lord. But the highlight to me was the reporting time in the afternoon session. Again we have heard of the miracles of God performed the last six months. God is moving powerfully among our friends and the miracles are instrumental in bringing many people to faith in Jesus Christ.
Shantobanjo told us how God had been using him to start two new house-churches since last we met in February. He is doing a pioneering work in the city with 5600 temples! A nominal Christian who occasionally also worshiped idols fell ill. First he went to the mosque two times for prayer. It didn’t help him. Then he came to Shantobanjo for prayer. Even then nothing happened! Then he went back to the mosque again. No help! Then he went to the hospital. The doctors offered no help. No one seemed to be able to help him. Then Santobanjo felt led by the Spirit to visit him. When he arrived in his home, the person was shivering in fever. In fact he went into a terrible shaking as by demon powers. Then Santobanjo prayed for hiom once more. Instantly the person was healed! Then Shantobanjo shared the gospel message with him.
After two months the person fell ill again. He had serious stomach troubles. The doctors wanted to make a surgery. Before operation took place the stomach burst open, liquid came out and he had an open wound. Shantobanjo was called for and the person was instantly healed! This miracle made the whole family receive Jesus Christ!
Santobanjo also prayed for a person suffering from a serious blood disease. In addition to the blood disease he also suffered from seven open wounds in the body. He was bedridden but couldn’t sleep because of the pain. After prayer he was completely healed and rose from the bed! Strenght returned to him and he was able to walk and work, which he had not been able to do for a long time!
Whenm Shantobanjo prayed for a lady with high fever, something left her body and she was completely healed!
Chitrasan also reported many miracles that had taken place the last few months. A lady that was bedridden and in heavy pain in her body was totally healed and left her bed after prayer and laying on of hands by him! A sixty old man that was paralysed and dumb was totally healed after three days of prayer and fasting. He was then able to walk and talk! The son of his neighbour fell ill. For elleven days he was very ill and too weak talk. In fact the child was dying and was taken to the hospital where it actually died. The neighbour told Chitrasan: We have done our duty, the doctors have done their duty, now it is time for you as a Christian pastor to do your duty and pray for the child to come back to life! In faith he responded to the challenge by prayer for the child. God intervened! The child was brought back to life! A demon possessed lady had tried all the traditional ways of getting well with no use. When Chitrasan prayed for her she was delivered and set totally free! Now she is a happy believer!
