Today we have been one full week in India. It has been a most wonderful time for Solveig and me to be together with Carol and Keri Jones. First we went to Amritsar in the state of Punjab, the city famous for the Golden Temple, the Sikh shrine. We went by the Shatabi train from New Dehli. The train was a pleasant surprise as we were travelling the Executive Class. We had snacks, drinks and dinner on the journey. All the service was excellent and it was all included in the price of the ticket! It took us about six hours to cover 452 km for 16 GB Pounds each!

In Amritsar we were with the people of God and we saw the beauty of his holiness in his temple! Pastor P.K.Varghese, his wife Eliama and their sons Dennis and Ashish from Kerala, are doing a wonderful work in the town and the surrounding villages! They are running two primary schools and planting churches!
From Amritsar we went to Udaipur to be our friend Peter. He had arranged a conference for his workers and their wives. About 170 people attended the conference. We had a wonderful time with them. I was so encouraged to hear about all the goods things the Lord was doing in their midst. Just to meet with these wonderful people and listen to their stories was such a good experience. Solveig and Carol spent some good time with the ladies and they were so encouraged by what they saw God was doing.
This morning we arrived in Jaipur and we are staying in a very nice hotel. The best thing about the hotel is that I have got an internet connection! I have been able to read all my emails and now I am sending my first entry to my blog for a full week!
