Sunday morning we were taken to Mavji’s place to meet with the people of God gathering in his small living room and combined bedroom. About 25 people were gathered to worship the Lord, share their testimonies, listen to the word of God and encourage each other to walk wholeheartedly with their God.

The small room was absolutely packed. The gathering was full of life. The spiritual gifts were operating. People were telling their stories of the goodness of God the last week.

I was especially blessed by a very old lady. She had seen some of the believers visiting a neighbouring house and sharing the good news with them. As she observed how the neighbours became happier after the visits and how the good news they had heard changed their lives, she became curious and wanted to know more. Then she took courage and asked the visiting believers to come to her house as well to share the good news with her also! As she listened to the message of the kingdom she received Jesus Christ as her Lord and Saviour. Her back used to be bended but now she was healed and could stand straight! Before she came to Christ she almost couldn’t walk at all, now she came walking to the gathering! Even her hearing had become better!

God is so good! There is nothing like being with the people of God sharing the joy of belonging to the Most High!
