Blogging is connecting people!

Since I started blogging for more than two years ago I have had the privilege of connecting with many new wonderful people. Some of these people I have never met in person but only communicated with through the Internet, giving and receiving comments at blogs, receiving and responding to e-mails, and sometimes even meeting people eye to eye in the real flesh and blood world.

Today I met with Tim Sokell from Newcastle area in England. He has been reading my blog awhile and even left some comments. Suddenly he told me by e-mail that he was visiting Bergen, asking if we could meet for a cup of coffee. I overlooked his mention of coffee, but was very excited that we could meet. I picked him up at the airport and took him to our home where we had a wonderful time of fellowship. And of cause Solveig gave him more than coffee!
It was like I had known him for years when we started to talk and discovered that we knew a lot of the same people, – in England and in Norway! The world is not big! The blogging has made it even smaller than before!
Later this evening I was chatting with my friend Toni from Finland again. We had a wonderful time of sharing spiritual insight, encouraging one another.
Again I thank God for his many ways of connecting people! I will certainly continue blogging, hoping to connect with many more people in the days to come.
Solveig reminded me of a prophetic word I was given many years ago, that I should be sitting in my good chair giving advice and spiritual insight to people that came to me from many nations. That word is being fulfilled in ways we could not imagining at that time. Now I understand that the word has been and will be fulfilled in many different ways. Connecting with people through blogging is just a small part of that.
