Sunday morning Per Arne Gjerde gave a wonderful message at Kristent Fellesskap in Bergen. He was teaching on Ecclesiastes 4:9-12. His teaching is in line with what God has been speaking to us recently on Personal Disciple Fellowship (PDF). All the leaders on all levels are practicing this in a new way and are being refreshed.

Today I had a email from a friend of mine from Switzerland. He was telling me: We experience a new deep love among each other in the church. I started to preach about “fellowship”. I believe that I preached during the last 4 months about Acts 4,29-33 only. God is speaking and revealing new things in a new clarity to me. And the church wants to learn, to change and to grow. It is fantastic.

Two people can accomplish more than twice as much as one; they get a better return for their labor. If one person falls, the other can reach out and help. But people who are alone when they fall are in real trouble. And on a cold night, two under the same blanket can gain warmth from each other. But how can one be warm alone? A person standing alone can be attacked and defeated, but two can stand back-to-back and conquer. Three are even better, for a triple-braided cord is not easily broken.
