Rain is pouring down

Ever since we returned to Bergen rain has been pouring down every day. The last few days have been very wet, even for people in Bergen the most rainy city in Norway. It doesn’t look like we will have a white Christmas this year. It is still very mild. The temperature is about 8 degrees Celcius. The news papers are full of worries of the global warming, but I am not worried at all!

When it comes to the global warming and the huge changes that are being predicted by many experts I don’t really know what to believe. But I know that God is in full control and that he is the saviour of the entire world, the entire created order.

I am more interested in another global warming that is taking place in our age that is about to change the spiritual climate of the planet earth. My heart itself is burning hot. I am excited. I am full of expectations to God for the days to come. The Spirit of the Lord is moving in many unexpected ways in these days. Like the rain is pouring down in Bergen the Spirit of God is poured out without measure in our age. We are living in prophetic days. We are seeing the promises of God being fulfilled.

God is good! He never gives up. He is never getting tired like us. He is still at work. He has a goal, and he has plan for how to bring everything to comsummation. He is determined to bring everything to completion in Christ. And here I am, resting in the grace of God, being refreshed by his Spirit and the prophetic promises spoken to me by his precious servants.

Now, I just want to be fully soaked in the rain of the Spirit, that he may produce his fruit in my life for the blessing of many people for his own glory.

I understand there is a real washing-up in Bergen now!:)
Here in Rovaniemi is it white powder snow now and cold-degrees. And it seem it’s gonna last over Christmas. In other words here is very good Christmasatmosphere now.
I’m leaving Rovaniemi on Monday and driving to my homevillage Jörpeland (Tungland)to celebrate Christmas and stay there working. I believe & hope it will happen wonderful Christmas surprises on the way home!:) GOD IS GOOD!

Winter still hasn’t arrived in England either. If God’s blessing is like the rain in Bergen then we are truly blessed!

The weather description in Bergen is similar to that in Pontypridd, Wales.
More exciting is the truth that the Spirit of the Lord is moving in unexpected ways here in Wales as it is in Bergen.
    Praise the Lord.

I’ve got some friends that are worried about all this global warming and so on! And to be honest, there are areas in my life I sometimes think about without TOTAL peace (!) But on Sunday Tony Ling preached in the church I’m in (Nordhordland), and especially one thing he read got caught in my heart; “Don’t fear: I am First, I am Last, I’m Alive. I died, but I came to life, and my life is now forever. See these keys in my hand? They open and lock Death’s doors, they open and lock Hell’s gates.” (Rev 1.17-18) No matter what happens around us; JESUS has got the keys..!

A little regression to what you wrote about: Even though some christians aren’t necassarily concered about the clobal warming, it is something that will negatively affect many people, and most of them don’t live in the western world. We are living in Gods creation, and should take responability and be good models when it comes to use of the earth resourses and the massiv amount of waste that a regular person (at least norwegians) produce. So jump on your bike instead of driving, borrow from others instead of buying, and reuse, refill and recycle.
By the way, your blog is very interesting to read.
