Last night Solveig and I relaxed by watching a movie on TV. It was a very simple story about the son of a thatcher who wanted to become a knight. He was told that he could not achieve that because that would be like changing the stars. However, he was determined to change the stars and his father told him that it could be done by faith. The boy overcame many obstacles because of his fearlessness and his persistent faith and eventually saw his dream come true.

It was a very simple movie, but the expression of changing the stars stuck with me.

I have seen many stars changed since I was a young boy given up by the doctors. I have heard it said many times that it is impossible, it can’t be done, or it will never happen. But I am still believing in changing the stars and seeing dreams fulfilled! I am approaching 65 but I am determined to change stars and defeat my human fate. By faith in the Almighty nothing is impossible for me!

I am so happy that I have come to know the One who holds the whole world in his hands. I have discovered that he delights in people who believe they can change their destiny by trusting Him and acting in faith.
