I have been traveling and visiting covenant communities in the northern part of Norway the last few days together with my friend Zephry D'Souza from India. He has been sharing in all the gatherings about sowing and reaping in one way or the other as he has been telling stories of what God is doing in the great nation of India. In his unique and kind way he has been giving thanks to the Norwegian brothers and sisters for their involvement in the work in India over many years.

I have been deeply touched by the things he has been sharing in the gatherings we have had in the growing churches we have been visiting. We met the first time in 1990 and sensed that the Lord joined us together and knitted our heart together in covenant love. Since that time Solveig and myself have been visiting our friends in India regularly, normally two times a year.

Zephry describe our visits as seed sown in India by the covenant communities in Norway. He is saying we are a bridge between our two nations. I never thought in those terms. I just felt that the Lord joined us together and I have just been sharing whatever the Lord has put on my heart. It has been a great joy to me and Solveig to be able to develop a close friendship with Zephry and his wonderful wife Brenda. They have been a real blessing to us. Our lives have been enriched because of their friendship.

Over the years Zephry and Brenda have become our best friends. Their devotion to the Lord Jesus Christ has challenged us and encouraged us. Their love for the covenant people of God and their unselfish service towards the covenant community in the city where they live and elsewhere has been a great example to us.

I don't know much about sowing, but I know that what we are reaping in our friendship far exceed any thing we have sown. That is the law of sowing and reaping. You always reap more than what you planted!
