Sunday morning I had the joy of meeting with the covenant community in Jaipur. The gathering was full of life, joyful singing and dancing, powerful testimonies and uplifting prophetic words. As I listen to the testimonies and watched the response of the people I was excited. Testimonies about God at work in the ordinary life of simple believers are really powerful.

We had all kind of stories told this Sunday morning, from the extra ordinary to the small but important help with ordinary problems. In all cases God is given the glory! I heard of people being healed from many different diseases. I heard of a Hindu priest who was troubled by demons being set free and committing himself to the Lord.   I heard of people who started to give tithe and receiving a new and well job in return!

About thirty new people were attending the gathering and at the end we spent a lot of time in praying for people in need. The real life testimonies created faith and expectation in those facing similar problems. This covenant community is in the midst of expansion and multiplication. The testimonies are one of the important factors in the growth as people naturally think that if God can do it for that person, he can also do it for me!

As we are returning to Norway we will continue to remember the powerful testimonies we have heard here and encourage people at home to be eager to share their own testimonies about the goodness of God in everyday life!
