Living in the presence of God

One of the main Christian understanding of God is that he is omnipresent. The Psalmist is saying that there is no place he can avoid God or be out of his sight (Psalm 139). In fact our life is an open book to him, even from a distance he knows what we are thinking. His reassuring presence is always with us.

I find great joy and comfort that God knows me, sees me, watches over me and will never take his eyes off me. I am so secure in His presence. I always want to learn how to live to please God. I want to start and end with God. He is alpha and omega, the beginning and the end. The first step in learning is bowing down to God and acknowledge his greatness and sovereignty. The good life begins in the fear of God.

God made my life complete when I placed all the pieces of my broken life before him. He gave me a fresh start in his gracious presence. I am living in his smile day by day. I only have one desire: to live with Him in his house my whole long life. I will contemplate his beauty and study at his feet. That is the only quiet, secure place in a noisy world. God takes care of all who stay close to him!
