In less than an hour we are leaving for India. Solveig and I have the privilege of visiting  two times a year. India is a fascinating country with the most beautiful and kind people in the world. We just love India. We love to be with our brothers and sisters in Christ. We thoroughly enjoy worshipping with the covenant community.

India is a colourful continent and very diverse in its outlook and cultural expressions. This vast nation has recently faced the worst flood in one hundred years. At least two million people has been effected by the flood. But we hear very little of it in the news media in the West. Hopefully we will be able to report from the flood and also from some areas hit by draught. The challenges are enormous. But the Indian people seem to be able to survive with a smile of faith and endurance.

We thank God who has enabled us to visit this great nation.
