Solveig sustained compression fracture

During our stay in Ongole Solveig's pain did not go away but rather increased. Therefore I ordered her to see an orthopaedic doctor and to have some X-rays. Then the doctor discovered that she had sustained compression fracture of body of first lumbar vertebra in the serious car accident we met with. She was advised not to sit for prolonged periods. She needs to take complete rest for 4-6 weeks. She was further advised to travel in laying down position. It may take three months time for her recovery.

We also saw a doctor, a professor and specialist, in Hyderabad. His advice was surgery. He also said that the fracture happened to be at a crucial point and she could have been paralysed. But since the fracture was stable he allowed us to travel home for further treatment. We thank God that he protected us and saved our lives during the serious car accident.

But we are on the way back home. We have been booked on a direct flight from Hyderabad to Frankfurt the 11th morning. We will be arriving in Bergen 12.10 on Wednesday. Our insurance company has been very helpful in arranging for hotel in Hyderabad and our journey back home.

God is good in all circumstances! He has been with us in this difficult time and the prayers of our covenant friends have sustained us. Thank you for continuous prayer! We are in a good spirit and believe that the Lord will bring swift healing to her entire body.

I praise the Lord that you’re alive and still preach the entire Gospel. It would be wonderful if you & Solveig could come to Nordic Mission Prayer Center in Levanger once and join us in worship and prayers. Psalm. 118.17
