I have had a wonderful time with Sashikant from Mumbai. He is a young man that studied at the Covenant School. He came to Christ through some older students and has been used powerfully by God since he returned to Mumbai. In few years he has seen a covenant community of about 150 committed people emerge. Ten young men are working with him and they have a 200 believer to look after. Recently they started a new work in a place where many people have come to Christ.

A woman who was suffering from bleeding every time she went to the toilet came to them for prayer. After the laying on of hands and a simple prayer in the name of Jesus she was completely healed from her longstanding suffering.

Another lady that was dumb and possessed by a demon was sent to him by some friends of her. Sashikant cast out the demon, set her free and instantly she started to speak.

Another demon possessed woman came to him for prayer recently. She had been troubled by the demons for quite some time. She had tried many things to get free without any success. She had been to many temples and even tried some occult practices. Nothing helped her and she found no relief. At last she came to Sashikant. He and his covenant friends prayed for her and she was totally healed from all her problems and sufferings. No wonder that she also received Jesus Christ as her personal Lord and Saviour.

A baby boy fell down from the fourth floor and was found unconscious. He was rushed to the hospital with several bone fractures. The doctor said his condition was very serious. The covenant community interceded for the boy and within a few days he was totally healed. Even the broken bones were healed within a few days!

A young believer had been married to a young girl in a forced arrangement by his father. He went to the village of his wife to visit her relatives. He told them of what God was doing in the covenant community in Mumbai. They were amazed to hear about Jesus and what he was doing among his people. They asked him if Jesus could do something for a paralyzed man in the village. The young believer answered very confidently that nothing was impossible for Jesus. They brought the paralyzed man to him. He prayed for him and the paralyzed man started to walk. 40 people came to Christ because of that miracle! Now there is a new work started in that village and the new covenant community is growing by the grace of God.
