A good number of people were gathered for the opening meeting in our Easter conference last night. It was so good to meet friends, hugging and kissing, expressing brotherly love.

It started with some new songs. I liked the text because they were all about Jesus! I love to sing his praise!

We had several prophetic messages on moving in the anointing of the Holy Spirit and experiencing the power of God. We are called to live in the supernatural! God wants to display his glory!

I was speaking on the story in Luke 5:1-12. Jesus told the disciples to push out into deep water. They had been working hard all night with no result! But Jesus told them to launch out into the deep.

Even though they had worked hard and caught nothing, the sea was still full of fish! Peter, the experienced fisherman, didn’t object to the son of the carpenter! He trusted his word, saying: On your word we will set the nets again!

We must not be governed by the past. We must not be governed by traditions. We must not be governed by failed attempts or past experience! When the Lord speaks, we need to be quick to respond! On your word! Since you say so!

Launch out into the deep! It is not about new methods or new techniques. It is all about hearing from God. It is all about being led by the Spirit! It is all about following Jesus!

When we live close enough to God to hear his word and launch out in faith, we will experience the supernatural! Then we will be a community of the Spirit, experiencing the mysterious Holy Presence that will overwhelm people!

The fishermen left everything and followed Jesus! They could have made a fortune out of the fish they had caught. Overwhelmed of the Holy Presence, they just abandoned everything and followed Jesus. It was then they really launched out into the deep!
