During our visit to the coastal area of Andra Pradesh we were able to hand over several fishing boats and nets to fishermen who lost their boats and nets in the tsunami. Believers in Norway and England have given generously towards this project. So far we have been able to distribute 34 new fishing boats to these poor fishermen who lost everything during the tsunami. We have also been able to distribute about 300 nets. Still there are many more fishermen waiting for new boats and nets. Therefore we are continuing to raise funds to help more tsunami victims. One of these small fishing boats that we are providing will enable four families to earn their living from fishing! To us it is a small investment. To them it is their life and their future that is at stake!

I praise God that he has enabled us to help at least some of these precious people. I was so moved to see their joy and thankfulness when we handed over the boats and nets to them. They took us on a ride with a boat and we had a very enjoyable time on the Krishna River towards the Bay of Bengal!
