The School of the Word

I had my first day at the School of the Word today. There are twenty three students in the class. Only one of them I knew pretty well beforehand. Some I have seen around in gatherings before. Most of the students were totally new to me and I guess they didn’t have much idea about me either. Therefore I spent the first session in sharing my testimony with them.

They seemed to enjoy listening to my story. Just as I like to listen to people sharing their story. Our stories can be very powerful and effective ways of communicating divine truths or impart life to people. I told the students that I didn’t come to the class to just give some teaching. I want to make friends. I want to develop a relationship with as many as possible of them. I can see great potential in these men and women in my class. I would like to see them blossom. I would like to see them reach their full potential in Christ. If I only could play a small role in helping them pursuing the will of God for their life I would be happy.

Amen. I will pray for you and the class. That you would plant a seed in them that will grow and change their lives forever. Because when this happens, they will help change the world to the Glory of our King.
    Blessings,
    Marcos

My dear friend Erling: sorry I cannot be with you while you are at SOTW this week. I’m thrilled you’re having a great time with them – they are all my favourites! Be Blessed and give the students my love – I will see them next week. PS: remond them that memory verses will be tested! Roger

Thank you for all you shared with us last week Erling. It was a wonderful time of teaching, getting to know you and hearing all of your great stories. We’re inspired and most certainly remember that… “The Kingdom of God IS!”
