The last few days I have been together with leaders of covenant communities from many different states of India. They are all giving very good reports of what God is doing in this great nation. From Kerala in the south to Sikkim in the north we are hearing that the Word is producing wonderful fruits in changed lives. Unreached people groups are given the Good News of the Kingdom and they are experiencing the transforming power of the Holy Spirit. People are being set free from demonic oppression. Many sich people are being healed. And many come to Christ.

In Nepal Henry and Prem are being used powerfully to bring the Good News to remote areas. Many new hause churches are being started. Prem has recently seen seven people being healed from cancer. One person in a wheelchair was healed after prayer. He left the wheelchair behing and could run happily to his home! In a big open air meeting at a market place many people started to shout "I am healed" – "I am healed" as the Spirit of God moved powerfully and sovereignly made people well from all kind of diseases.
The leaders were met had baptized more than one thousand new believers in 2008!
Some numbers we were given were difficult to understand. Like Rajinder telling us that he had given the Good News to one thousand persons in 2008. Sixhundred of them received Jesus Christ. Sixty persons had been healed and three baptized.
Our friends are seeing people from many people groups coming to Christ. Dalits – the untouchables – Brahmins – high cast priestly people – tribals, and people from many ethnic backgrounds come to Christ.
